Open Doors

The following showrooms will be participating in Open Doors during Spring Thing 2011.

  • Ann Sacks – Stop by for refreshments and see what’s new at Ann Sacks.
  • BoConcept – BoConcept, brand new to Decorative Center Dallas, will offer wine and snacks during Spring Thing 2011! Drop off your business card to qualify for the in-store raffle, just for guests that visit BoConcept during the event. Prizes include accessories, clocks, and a Grand Prize of a $100 gift certificate to Scardello Artisan Cheese.
  • Brown Jordan – Enjoy handcrafted, artisanal gelato straight from Paciugo as you browse the extensive selection of Brown Jordan leisure furniture.
  • Dahlgren Duck – Experts will be on-hand to provide a step by step presentation, enhanced by video and actual composite stages of production, of how fine bone china and flatware are produced.
  • Luxury Living – FENDI Casa – Be one of the first to see the 2011 FENDI Spring Runway Show, enjoy a refreshing ‘Fenditini’, and see how FENDI and KENZO Maison transition their fabulous fashion stylings into home designs.
  • Henredon – Enjoy a live installation of tablescape creation, “Table Dressed to the Nines” by Shane Walker, one of Dallas’ finest florists. Shane will also provide ideas for Spring entertaining, expert advice to help meet your clients needs, as well as tips for making the most what’s growing in your own backyard.
  • JANUS et Cie – Please join JANUS et Cie as we all welcome Spring and begin our days and nights of outdoor enjoyment. This year JANUS et Cie proudly launches their own exclusive “Generation-Next” JANUSfiber™ with over 350 new designs.  Come by and enjoy one of the fabulous sweet treats they are known for (those yummy Cake Balls from Dallas’ own Crème de la Cookie) & see many of JANUS et Cie’s new 2011 products in person!
  • Kisabeth – At 2:00, join Kisabeth as Kathleen Cunningham, Director of the Dallas Arboretum Speakers Bureau presents, The Dallas Arboretum, The Diamond in Dallas. The Dallas Arboretum is one of the most magnificent gardens in the nation, a visual banquet that is ablaze in color year-round. The beautiful gardens and lush lawns on the shores of White Rock Lake will be presented by Kathleen Cunningham. The entertaining presentation will take us through the gardens and historic DeGoyler home. We focus on current events that make the Arboretum an ever-changing place to visit and enjoy, including a sneak peek at the new Children’s Garden. There will be a drawing for Free Guest Passes to the Dallas Arboretum. Also, register to win a Family Membership to the Dallas Arboretum (must be present to win).
  • McGannon Showrooms – Visit McGannon Showroom during Open Doors and register for their drawing to win a new iPad 2! Winner will be chosen during their Happy Hour from 4:30 – 6:00 that evening. McGannon will also feature several talented artists, specializing in a variety of mediums, all on-hand displaying their work.
